Final Results for the 2022 KWM Gutterman Men’s Pro Outdoor Cup!

3WallBall LLC, the leading Outdoor Racquetball tournament production organizer in the nation, in partnership with Pro Racquetball Stats and thanks to the generous support of KWM Gutterman and Keith Minor, is proud to announce the results of the 2022 KWM Gutterman Men’s Pro Outdoor Cup!

Competition Winners

Congratulations to the top three finishers of the 2022 cup Series:

-    1st Place: Daniel De La Rosa with 2,000 points.  $1,500 first prize plus a complementary two-night suite reservation at the STRAT hotel.
-    2nd place: Eduardo Portillo with 1,303.75 points.  $1,000
-    3rd place: Robert Sostre with 1,141.25 points.  $500

De La Rosa completes a dominant showing in the Cup Series and was in first place after all three Outdoor Majors.  He finishes the year with five outdoor pro titles.  Portillo improved his standing to 2nd place by virtue of his 3WallBall Pro doubles title and a strong showing at Outdoor Nationals.  Sostre was ranked 7th after Beach Bash, but two strong results in Las Vegas (winning the CPRT title and making the final of 1-wall Pro Doubles allowed Sostre to edge Mercado and Mar, who finished 4th and 5th respectively.

Announcing the2022 KWM Gutterman Men’s Pro Outdoor Cup

Players will accrue KWM Cup bonus points based on their finishes in the competition events at the three outdoor majors.  Players can compete in Pro Singles, Men’s Pro Doubles, CPRT Pro Doubles, or Mixed Pro Doubles, and the best two results per tournament are used to assign KWM Cup points.  In the case of the Vegas tournament, where both 1-wall and 3-wall events are offered, you may play up to four divisions. (changed 9/5/22) Three results will be used to assign points towards the KWM Cup as long as one of the three results are from a ONE-Wall division. Ties will be broken based on (in order) results in Men’s Pro Doubles in Las Vegas, then Men’s Pro Doubles at Outdoor Nationals, then Men’s Pro Doubles at Beach Bash.  The final tiebreaker shall, in true Las Vegas style, involve card cutting to determine the winner.  In the case of an event cancellation, the competition will use the remaining events to award the prizes.

Prizes

At the end of the third 2022 Outdoor Major in Las Vegas in October, 2022, we will name the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers.  The prizes will be as follows:

• 1st Place: $1,500 plus a 2-night suite reservation at The STRAT Hotel good for one year

• 2nd Place: $1,000

• 3rd Place: $500
