Competition Winners

Congratulations to the top three finishers of the 2022 cup Series:

-    1st Place: Michelle De La Rosa with 1,680 points.  $1,500 first prize plus a complementary two-night suite reservation at the STRAT hotel.
-    2nd place: Hollie Scott with 1,189.375 points.  $1,000
-    3rd place: Carla Munoz with 925 points.  $500

De La Rosa led the competition from start to finish and removed any doubt of her Outdoor dominance by winning three titles in Las Vegas. Scott was ranked 5th after Beach Bash but reached all three finals at Outdoor Nationals and secured the One-Wall Mixed title in Vegas to clinch 2nd place.  Munoz finished 3rd despite missing the Beach Bash event entirely; her four pro titles trail only De La Rosa for the most of any outdoor player in 2022.

Announcing the 2022 LPL Financial LPRT Cup

Players will accrue LPL Cup bonus points based on their finishes in the competition events at the three outdoor majors.  Players can compete in Pro Singles, Women’s Pro doubles, or Mixed Pro Doubles, and the best two results per tournament are used to assign LPL Cup points.  In the case of the Vegas tournament, where both 1-wall and 3-wall events are offered, you may play up to four divisions. (changed 9/5/22) Three results will be used to assign points towards the LPL Cup as long as one of the three results are from a ONE-Wall division. Ties will be broken based on (in order) results in Women’s pro doubles in Las Vegas, then Women’s pro doubles at Outdoor Nationals, then Women’s Pro doubles at Beach Bash.  The final tie-breaker shall, in true Las Vegas style, involve card cutting to determine the winner.  In the case of an event cancellation, the competition will use the remaining events to award the prizes.

Prizes

At the end of the third 2022 Outdoor Major in Las Vegas in October, 2022, we will name the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place women’s finishers.  The prizes will be as follows:

• 1st Place: $1,500 plus a 2-night suite reservation at The STRAT Hotel good for one year

• 2nd Place: $1,000

• 3rd Place: $500
